B Complex Liquid Vitamins

Veterinarian’s Apawthecary™ brand liquid vitamin supplements are formulated for use in dogs, cats and other small companion animals.

All B vitamins are water soluble and are not effectively stored by the mammalian body. Generally speaking, most B vitamins are continuously lost through diuresis. Therefore, adequate quantities must be provided through diet or supplementation.

The primary focus of this formula is to deliver supplementary or therapeutic dosages of USP grade vitamins in a form that allows fast and complete absorption while offering optimal palatability in most animals.

This formula is alcohol-free, using USP grade vegetable glycerin as a base that is very sweet, but does not affect blood sugar levels. Natural raspberry flavoring has been added to further enhance palatability.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION

Best applied by squirting the desired dose directly into the animal’s mouth, preferably between meals. This allows for optimal absorption, without interference from food materials that remain in the intestine.

If direct administration is not possible, feeding with liquid (water, broth, etc.) is a rational second choice. If all else fails, the formulas can be added to food, but higher dosage might be required for best absorption.
