My Mission
Welcome!
I'm a science-based, force-free, positive reinforcement dog trainer. After over a decade volunteering with dog rescue organizations and shelters, I founded Sabra Dog Training in Nashville in 2014.
I'm a proud graduate of Karen Pryor Academy (the premiere certification program in dog training), a licensed presenter for Family Paws (an organization which provides expert support and resources for families with dogs), and a behavior technician for board certified veterinary behaviorist Dr. Beth Strickler. I am also one of the founders of Force Free Tennessee (an association of professional animal trainers and behavior specialists).
I feel privileged to work with Nashvillians and their dogs on a daily basis...and now YOU! I am particularly proud to have worked at Davidson County Male Correctional Facility, teaching inmates basic dog training to prepare rescued Greyhounds for adoption. I am also a mentor for CATCH Academy and Victoria Stilwell Academy, helping shape the trainers of tomorrow.
My husband and I live with our two boys and adopted Beagle-mix in our Nashville home, where laughter and chaos exist in equal measure.
